Established in 1979, Chung Ying Theatre Company is a reputed theatre organisation financially supported by the Government of the HKSAR and a Venue Partner of Kwai Tsing Theatre, dedicating to promote dramatic arts and paying special effort on educational and outreach programmes. CYTC is one of the first local theatre companies introducing “Theatre-in-Education” to Hong Kong. To cope with our expansion, we are URGENTLY looking for high calibre professionals to join our dynamic team.

駐團演員

背景:
中英劇團現正招聘四名駐團演員,參與團內各項演出。

職責:
參與主舞台、海外巡演、外展及教育製作及演出;
協助工作坊、外展及教育活動、導賞活動的進行;
協助藝術總監籌劃藝術項目,貫徹劇團的理念。

入職條件:
熱愛戲劇,並有志從事戲劇專業發展;
修讀戲劇相關課程之人士將獲優先考慮;
具豐富演出經驗者將獲優先考慮;
具備良好的藝術水平;
具團隊精神;
需配合劇團彈性工作時間。

駐團演員(戲劇新晉培育計劃)

背景:
中英劇團現正參與香港政府的藝術發展配對資助計劃,透過各界人士慷慨捐款及贊助,獲得政府的配對資助,推出「戲劇新晉培育計劃」(Young Talent Incubator Scheme),新增兩名駐團演員,給予年輕藝術家發揮、探索及實踐的空間。合約為期兩年。

職責:
參與主舞台、海外巡演、外展及教育製作及演出;
協助工作坊、外展及教育活動、導賞活動的進行;
協助藝術總監籌劃藝術項目,貫徹劇團的理念。

入職條件:
香港永久居民;
熱愛戲劇,並有志從事戲劇專業發展;
持本地或海外學士學位,主修戲劇相關課程之準畢業生或畢業一年人士;
具備良好的藝術水平;
具團隊精神;
需配合劇團彈性工作時間。

駐團導演(戲劇新晉培育計劃)

背景:
中英劇團現正參與香港政府的藝術發展配對資助計劃,透過各界人士慷慨捐款及贊助,獲得政府的配對資助,推出「戲劇新晉培育計劃」(Young Talent Incubator Scheme),新增一名駐團導演崗位予新晉戲劇人才,給予年輕藝術家發揮、探索及實踐的空間。合約為期三年。

職責:
參與主舞台、海外巡演、外展及教育製作;
協助工作坊、外展及教育活動、導賞活動的進行;
協助藝術總監籌劃藝術項目,貫徹劇團的理念;
協助文本指導及資料搜集;
協助統籌排練及執行項目。

入職條件:
香港永久居民;
熱愛戲劇,並有志從事戲劇專業發展;
持本地或海外學士學位,主修戲劇相關課程之準畢業生或畢業五年人士;
具備良好的藝術水平;
具團隊精神;
需配合劇團彈性工作時間。

ARTS ADMINISTRATOR TRAINEE (Two-year Contract)

Requirements:
1. Hong Kong permanent resident;
2. Interested in arts administration and has never worked as full-time staff in any arts organisation; and
3. Holder of a recognised university degree in Hong Kong or equivalent (applicant who does not have equivalent qualification but possesses rich knowledge or experience in the field of performing arts may also apply with provision of appropriate information).

PROGRAMME AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Duties:
1. Assist in programme planning, producing and coordination of stage performances, educational and outreach projects, and ad hoc projects as assigned;
2. Assist in execution of strategic communication plans to enhance company awareness and manage deliverable timelines. Participate in, and may lead, project production meetings, and following up sponsorship opportunity;
3. Maintain a strong media network, handle media interview, reporting and other related functions;
4. Collaboratively working with other departments for logistics;
5. Assist in managing and liaising with artists and service providers;
6. Managing budget and compiling reports;
7. Provide full spectrum of administration and secretary supports to senior management.

Requirements:
1. Degree holder or above;
2. At least 2 year of solid working experience in theatre production;
3. Strong interest in performing arts;
4. Good understanding of theatre production process as well as local performing arts field;
5. Detail minded and self-motivated.
6. Strong communication and coordination skills;
7. Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English;
8. Knowledge of graphic design basics and web publishing tools is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Fringe benefits include rest days, public holidays, annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, medical insurance, employee’s compensation insurance and MPF.
