Christmas Lam joined Chung Ying as the resident director since 2022. Served as assistant director for "The Advocate" (Frist-run and Re-run), "The Miracles of the Namiya General Store" (Re-run and Third-run), and "Man of La Mancha" musical. He is the executive director of "A Tale of Two Cities: blood for blood" and directed "Dongmui".
Before joining Chung Ying, he worked as a project manager at Theater Space. He was also responsible for assistant producer, assistant director, drama composition, etc. He participated in productions including "A Murder is Announced" and "Uragiri Gomen", "Verdict", "The Invisible X", "Appointment with Death", "Westside Twirling Dream", etc. In 2022, he will serve as the director of "House of Detectives- Hong Kong Remakes".
He graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with first-class honors, majoring in visual arts and directing respectively. During his studies, he studied drama at National Taiwan Normal University, Dongguk University, and Odin Theater. He won the school's Outstanding Director Award for his graduation film "Medea" and was nominated for Best Director at the 11th Hong Kong Small Theater Awards.
