Chu Yung has joined Chung Ying as a full-time actor since 2018. He graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) Degree in acting, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics.

While at the Academy, he received the Outstanding Actor Award (Best Ensemble) with Howl and the Outstanding Actor Award with Who's Afraid of Lord of the Flies. He has appeared in HKAPA MFA Director Graduate Production Thesis Project: I, Don Quixote, co-presented with Chung Ying, as Don Quixote.
