Edmond Lo

Edmond Lo joined Chung Ying as a full-time actor in 1998, and has become the Assistant Artistic Director since 2014. Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) Degree in acting, he earned his Master degree in directing from HKAPA in 2010.

Lo has participated in over 80 drama productions of the Chung Ying as actor, and was awarded the Best Actor (Comedy/Farce) from the Hong Kong Drama Awards with the Last Bet of My Dead Aunt in 2007 and the Best Supporting Actor (Comedy/Farce) with Little Shop of Horrors in 2003. His recent works include Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, Go Go Ghost (Re-run), Rashomon, Tuesdays with Morrie, Writer's Block, Les Misérables (by Jonathan Holloway), the 39 Steps, etc.

Edmond has joined Chung Ying since 1998.

His recent directing works include Metro-morphosis, the Miracles of the Namiya General Store, Go Go Ghost, the Big Big Day, Months on End, the Revenge of Local Heroes, Christmas Messages, Sylvia (Co-Director), Frankenstein, etc. He was nominated for the Best Director from the Hong Kong Drama Awards with the Miracles of the Namiya General Store, Go Go Ghost, the Big Big Day and Frankenstein in 2018, 2014, 2013 and 2010 respectively.
