Edwin Wan joined Chung Ying as a full-time actor since 2021.
He grauduated with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, University of London, UK, and received a master's degree in musical theater performance and a LRAM education practitioner diploma. He was also awarded the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme by the Education Bureau to fund his further studies. He graduated with first-class honors from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in global business management and performance respectively. While in school, he won the Outstanding Actor Award twice, and received the HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship and the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship to study at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Australia.
He once served as one of the lead singers for Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies; his voice and singing training also brought him opportunities including film and television dubbing, commercial narration, and singing teaching.
Performances performed by the company include "Withered womb", "The Woman in Kenzo" musical, "The Advocate", "The Miracles of the Namiya General Store" (re-run and Third-run), "Man of La Mancha" the musical, "A Tale of Two Cities: blood for blood", "Dongmui" and "Fly Poor to The Moon".
