Sunday Yuen has joined Chung Ying as a full time actor since 2019. He graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) Degree in acting, and the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Linguistics.
He was nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor at the 11th Hong Kong Threatre Libre for his role as Moritz Stiefel in Musical: Spring Awakening. While at the Academy, he received Jacky Cheung Scholarships and Scholarships of Perseverance. His works in the Academy include The Adding Machine, Three Sisters and The Threepenny Opera.
Before joining Chung Ying, he has appeared in Hong Kong Arts Centre’s Playwrights Studio and iStage’s Musical “Murder Code: D”. He also interned and appeared in Chung Ying’s Confucius 63 during his study.
