Over the years, Chung Ying Theatre Company has collaborated with various organisations to produce touring performances, among which the educational interactive theatre is the most popular. Audiences are invited to engage with the characters’ situations, express emotions in a dilemmas, or assist in resolving difficulties. Their choices can even influence the development of the plot, creating resonance with the story and encouraging them to think carefully about the underlying messages.
Since its founding, Chung Ying has produced nearly 5,730 school tour performances, attracting more than 900,000 student participants. Past partners include “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust”, “Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health”, “Independent Commission Against Corruption”, and the “TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Services Centre”.
