He started acting professionally early in his secondary school days. He collaborated in founding the Seals Theatre Company in 1979, actively involving in on-stage and off-stage duties. After graduating in English from Hong Kong Baptist University (then Hong Kong Baptist College) in 1982, he began his acting career with Chung Ying Theatre Company. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Translation from the University of Hong Kong in 1989 and was also the General Manager of High Noon Production Co. Ltd at that period of time. He has been serving as the Vice President of Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies since 1994. He collaborated in founding Theatre Space in 1998. In 2011, he obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Drama (Directing) from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In 2014, he was awarded a commendation certificate from the Secretary for Home Affairs, as a recognition of his contributions in local arts and cultural development.
Ms Wong graduated from the Department of Language and Business Studies of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, majoring in German. After 2 years of working in the PR field, she continued her study at the School of Drama of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and received a of Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours), majoring in acting. Recently, she obtained the degree of Executive Master of Arts in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from The Education University of Hong Kong.
Ms Wong has been the producer for performances of a variety of groups, including Pants Theatre Production, No Man’s Land Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, 2 On Stage, Yakusha Theatre, the Radiant Theatre, Pleroma Theatre, the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies, Dionysus Contemporary Theatre Limited, Hong Kong 3Arts Musical Institute, Drama Gallery, Stage 64 and Fantasy Puppet Theatre, Take It Easy Theatre. These involved various types of projects, such as HKADC Year Grant project, LCSD Venue Partnership Scheme, Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme, commercial productions, etc. She won the Best Production Award of The 29th Hong Kong Drama Awards with May 35th in 2022. She has also been the producer for a number of events, including the Hong Kong Drama Awards Presentation Ceremony (from 2008 onwards), The 6th & 10th Chinese Drama Festival as well as The 1st, 2nd & 3rd Documentary Theatre Festival, and Hong Kong's first "Technical Arts Festival".
Recent performances include Seven Boxes Possessed of Kafka, Fear and Misery of the Third Reich, The Maids, 1001 Nights of Pasolini and One Hundred Years of Solitude of the Alice Theatre Laboratory, The Young Hunger Artist K of the On & On Theatre Workshop, Deadline at 30 of Error Box, Flower Story of the Radiant Theatre, and won the Best Actress Award of The 2nd Hong Kong Theatre Libre with The Maids.
Ms Wong is currently a freelance actress, an independent producer, Internal Secretary of the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies, Assessor for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Founder and Administrative Director of The Radiant Theatre.
